Take Home Exams@TUHH

This semester, examinations will also take place under more difficult conditions due to the Corona pandemic. For the first time, it will therefore be possible to take exams outside the premises of the TUHH. For this purpose, the new examination type “Take-Home-Exam” (short: THE) has been included in the examination regulations for the winter semester 20/21.

However, not all examination tasks are suitable for an examination at home, because without supervision it is possible for students to exchange information about the solution of tasks and to research unlimited information. Therefore, the examination tasks should be designed in such a way that an exchange/research is not or only slightly purposeful or explicitly part of the task.
You will find tips for a sensible design of such examination tasks, the technical/organisational implementation and the legal framework conditions as well as corresponding contact persons in the attached handout.
In addition, you will find attached a field report with concrete tips on how to implement the Problelauf Take Hom Exams at the Institute W-4.
