The design of a game in general is crucial to get right to allow the patient to be able to concentrate on the game at all. Proper cues, challenges, pacing, and feedback are necessary to be able to keep the user engaged.ht
Serious games are a viable option to improve rehabilitation for stroke patients by not addressing the difficult task that cannot be changed, but by creating a stimulating, safe and encouraging environment that allows them to reach the limits of their ability and enjoy every small victory.
Pacing is crucial in games in general, but for someone recovering from a stroke, the pressure of time can overly confront them with the fact they might find a task challenging.
In this project, we have a combination of HTC Vive and sense glove and we want to develop a graphical game for rehabilitation training. The game should be realizable in Virtual Reality with the HTC Vive and that the game needs to support the execution of rehabilitative movement.
