Development of a procedure for the model-based completeness check of assembly modules
Optical sensor systems offer the potential to continuously and automatically record assembly conditions and derive information, but require a high level of planning, configuration and implementation effort. The IFPT is therefore working on a tool that enables the semi-automated planning and commissioning of sensor systems for the inspection of assembly modules.
Within the scope of this work, a procedure for the model-based completeness check of assembly components based on 2D image data is to be developed. 3D CAD and simulation data are available as a reference for the testing task. For this purpose, the state of the art regarding model-based image processing will first be researched and a concept for the processing chain will be designed. This will then be implemented and evaluated and discussed in terms of applicability and benefit using example assemblies.
