Development and validation of a slant detection system for slats
For slats used up to now, there is no need to detect the failure of the flap skew. However, such a system is required for new system solutions that become necessary due to changed boundary conditions, such as reduced installation space. Within the scope of this work, various skew detection concepts are therefore to be developed and evaluated. In order to carry out a simulative validation of the concepts afterwards, a multi-body simulation model with a flexible flap body must be created in advance.
Tasks:
- Familiarisation with high-lift systems and multi-body simulation
- Development of concepts for skew detection
- Evaluated selection of one or more potential concepts
- Construction of a multi-body simulation model and validation of the selected concepts
