We perfom various structural ultimate strength, fatigue and fracture mechanics tests, measurements of residual stresses and structural vibrations as well as tests on ice loading in the framework of research projects or industrial contracts. With our equipment we are able to test from small up to full-scale specimens applying a maximum load of 4000 kN. Furthermore, the Institut for Ship Structural Design & Analysis is working on a wide range of problems related to the design of ship and offshore structures.
