Ice-structure interactions can be carried out by means of various experimental stands (for example: free-fall tower). We perform measurements of local ice pressure distributions on rigid surfaces and deformable structures.
Capabilities
1) Ice-structure-interaction tests
With different test rigs (e.g. drop tower)
2) Measurement of local ice-pressure-distributions
On flat surfaces
On deformable structures
3) Preparation and evaluation of thin sections
Equipment
Our laboratory is equipped with a number of various test machines and measurement devices.
