Objective: Investigation of ice loads on deformable ship structures
- Identify the influence of spatial and temporal variations on ship structures
- Develop a first principle-based design ice load approach which is suitable for operational guidance for ice classed and none-ice classed ships

- Conduction of large scale ice-structure interaction experiments
- Evaluation of ice-structure experiments
- Development of a first principle-based design approach
