Information about the choice of specialisation

When do I need to choose a specialisation?

You must choose your specialisaton once you want to register for the first exam of that specialisation. This does not depend on the semester you are in.

For the specialisation of mechanical engineering it is also necessary to choose an area of focus. For that purpose there is a form here which has to be submitted to the Examination Office. It takes some time for the Examination Office to process the form. As such, please submit the form around four weeks before the registration period for the semester in which you want to register for examinations. The registration periods are always the first two weeks in June (for the summer semester) and December (for the winter semester).
